Dental Assistant / Receptionist

Job duties: 

• Greet and seat  the patients in operatory with friendly professional demeanor 
• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments following strict IPAC protocols
• Take and develop dental x-rays 
• Provide chair side assistance to the dentist during procedures
• Obtain dental impressions or dental scan and pour models when needed and prepare case for lab pick up
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
• Assist in obtaining accurate patient records and  update medical history 
• Schedule patient appointments and manage the dental office calendar
• Perform dental receptionist duties as needed

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited dental assisting program or equivalent dental experience 
- X-ray  Harp certification required
- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
- Proficiency in using dental software, Tracker software experience beneficial
- Advantage if Team player  and computer proficiency 
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: $20.00-$28.00 per hour

Experience:

• Previous dental experience preferred 
• New graduate can apply with willingness to learn and train in all aspect of dentistry

• Certified Dental Assistant (required)
