Video Editor

Description:

Comarkco is a content led, AI-driven company that is revolutionizing the CPG model. We have a small number of in-house brands that we fully support across departments, including manufacturing, content, operations, and supply chain. The Video Editor we are looking for will be responsible for creating and cutting content for our brands that will be posted across all social media platforms (Tiktok, Instagram, etc.). We’re a small team and a rapidly growing company, so we need someone who is hands-on and has a lot of enthusiasm for growing and learning in a short period of time

Responsibilities:

• Edit large batches of content daily that will be posted across a variety of platforms (Tiktok, Instagram, Youtube) that showcases a unique creative style representative of the brand 

• Autonomously research content trends and changes so that the content you’re creating is always ahead of the curve

• Investigate how videos you edited are performing in real-time so you can improve your content creation tactics based on these learnings

• Collaborate with your teammates and cross functional departments on rapid fire requests and tight timelines

• Attend creative brainstorms, kick offs, and team meetings contributing ideas and design strategy formulation

Requirements:

• Video / art / design education OR equivalent creative experience, with a passion for making creative content across various social media platforms, including but not limited to TikTok, Instagram, YouTube 

• Experience working with Adobe Creative Suite. Additional experience with any of the following is a plus: CapCut, Final Cut, After Effects  

• Editing/Post-production: Adobe Suite

• A self starter who is responsible and demonstrates initiative, takes accountability for the content they create, and has strong attention to detail 

• Able to take feedback and critique without being discouraged to continuously improve content output 

• Able to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines 

• A master of content creation skills, capable of independent execution from start to finish, with a passion for various kinds of creative outlets including design, video, and editing – writing is a plus! 

• Has strong communication skills and is able to collaborate with the individuals of an organization, fostering strong cross-functional teamwork and positive results.
