Job Title: Service Manager

Job description/overview:
A leading Global Electronics Manufacturer is looking for a Service Manager to manage inventories for service parts, provide technical consultation and to communicate with HQ teams to address all service-related issues and manage/build databases for the services. Responsibilities will include providing engineering support for products and applications to sales channel personnel and key accounts and may also develop and/or deliver technical training to customers, distributors and company personnel on relevant products.
Position Duties and Responsibilities:
Build and expand Local Service network and procedures for the company.
Deal with customer’s service requirements.
Build and manage big databases for service.
Receipt service call for customers' claims both online and on-site.
Manage Local Service partners and communicate with HQ department.
Manage inventory for the service materials.
Provide online and on-site application engineering and product consulting.
Establish Service process and Service network for the company.
Develop global Service specialists (requires technology and communication skills).
Foster experts in Global SVC (Technology + Communication).
Provide technical phone and email support.
Serve as one of the primary technical resources for all inquiries. Assist with product selection, cross referencing, etc.
Provide feedback on factory documentation for the purpose of continuous improvement.
Develop technical/application notes where applicable, detailing start-up procedures of new products.
Maintain current knowledge of new products and applications, through self-study, hands-on testing of demo units. Products include Transformers, Switchgears, Circuit breakers, Swathes, and Electrical products.
Provide technical product training to customers.
Produce white papers and app notes for publication in industry media.
Deliver presentations to internal and external organizations or entities.
Assist marketing with creation of technically based marketing collateral (e.g., YouTube videos)
Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Education, Skills and Experience
Bachelor’s degree or higher, Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience preferred.
3+ years’ experience with implementation of substation equipment installation/testing
Experience with Power Transmission/Distribution equipment such as Transformers, Switchgears/Switchboards, Circuit breakers, Swathes, Electrical products, etc.
Work experience in service for Electrical equipment and Power substations.
Experience in service and testing switchgears.
Experience in inspection and maintenance of Power substation • Electrical-related Certifications.
Technical writing skills.
Project management skills.
Ability to operate effectively as part of a team.
Ability to write and perform technical product and solution training for groups.
Fluent in English and Korean language preferred
Additional information
This position requires frequent Travel as needed up to 20% Compensation: Competitive salary based on experience.
