Full-Time Legal Secretary – Anchorage, Alaska

We appreciate the need to live, work and play! Come join our team. McCollum & Rounds, LLC is seeking a secretary to perform a wide variety of duties and provide assistance with document editing and drafting, as well as daily administrative and clerical support.

Our practice is focused on real estate matters including acquisition, leasing, development, financing, foreclosures, condominiums, planned communities, subdivisions and real estate litigation.

Duties Include: greeting clients and vendors; receive and place telephone calls; scheduling appointments; maintaining Outlook calendars; document preparation and proofing; mail; filing; delivering and filing documents with the courts & recorder's office; business errands; and other miscellaneous tasks as may be assigned from time to time.

Requirements:

• Candidate must have strong administrative skills;
• Proficiency in Windows OS and Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc.);
• Attention to detail;
• Exceptional spelling and grammar;
• Friendly and professional demeanor is important;
• Must have driver's license and vehicle with insurance;
• General office experience preferred; and
• A dog lover (we have an office pup).

This is a full-time position, 8am-4pm, Monday – Friday. Parking is provided. Initial compensation $17-25/hr DOE. Employment and compensation advancement opportunities are available! Health insurance is not offered. Simple IRA package available. Paid holidays. Paid time off.
