Sales and Business Development Associate

UrbanToronto is seeking to hire a full-time, high-energy Sales and Business Development Associate.
In this role you will be the lead contact for sales and business development to key partners in the planning, development, construction, real estate and architecture industries in the GTHA. You will promote and build relationships with outside companies to market and sell the UrbanToronto audience and its products.
Responsibilities
• sell advertising and marketing packages
• negotiate terms of deals and agreements
• manage existing clients, contracts and fulfillment
• collaborate with other teams to meet targets
• seek out and develop relationships with new clients
• create sales and marketing materials
• keep track of business trends related to our business
• network and attend industry events
• promote our B2B services
Qualifications
• advertising and business development experience — Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience for 2+ years
• B2B sales experience
• passionate about digital marketing and advertising
• proficiency with Salesforce platform an asset
• ability to plan and organize sales presentations, meetings, marketing strategies
• exceptional written and verbal communications skills
• knowledge of GTA urban development, planning, construction, real estate and architecture
• creative, energetic and entrepreneurial spirit is a must!
