We are looking for an experienced IT Support Specialist to join our IT team. The primary responsibility of this role is to provide technical support and assistance to end-users via phone, email, and in-person. The IT Support Specialist will diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues, handle printer problems and escalate complex problems to higher-level support teams when necessary. Additionally, the successful candidate will assist with IT equipment setup, configuration, and maintenance, and provide training and guidance to end-users as needed.

Requirements:

• Associate degree or equivalent certification in Information Technology or related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in a help desk or technical support role with a strong emphasis on troubleshooting hardware, software, printer, networking, and Wi-Fi issues.
• Experience with diagnosing and resolving hardware and software problems, including desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and other peripherals.
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and LAN/WAN technologies.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office applications.
• Familiarity with printer setup, configuration, and maintenance, including driver installation and troubleshooting.
• Ability to troubleshoot common networking issues, such as slow connectivity, IP conflicts, and DNS resolution problems.
• Familiarity with remote desktop support tools and endpoint management tools.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Database experience with MySQL/MariaDB in writing optimized SQL queries for reports, understanding multiple table joins and using multiple different databases to get required results. Also experience in with Excel to use the results to create reports including VLOOKUPS, Pivot tables, and simple graphing techniques.
• Provides technical support for computer users.
• Respond to user’s questions and complaints regarding computer issues
• Project Management for new projects to manage complete project life cycle.
