What is a Home Health Director of Professional Services (RN)?
A Director of Professional Services (RN) establishes a business plan and fosters the development and alignment of internal and external partners to provide an environment driven by customer excellence.
What does the Director of Professional Services (RN) do?
The Director of Professional Services (RN) ensures quality and safe delivery of home health services, coordinates services that reflect the Agency’s philosophy and standards of care and is responsible for all day-to-day operations of the Agency.
Some of the position profiles include:
- Strategic Branch Leadership & Business Partnering: Establishes a branch business plan and fosters the development and alignment of Internal and External Partners.
- Coaching & Team Development: Recruits, selects, and hires an effective, qualified, and diverse team. Provides coaching and development to maximize team effectiveness across the branch staff.
- Operational Excellence & Customer Experience: Coordinates efforts with business partners across the Region to deliver customer excellence, coordinate selling activities, reduce redundancy, and achieve market share, growth, and other key performance metrics.
What are some qualifications for a Director of Professional Services (RN)?
- Unencumbered Registered Nurse Licensure preferred
- Three to five (3-5) years of supervisory or administrative experience in home health care
- Proven leadership and experience in health services administration
- Knowledge of home care regulations, accreditation, and regulatory requirements required
- Excellent communication skills
