Job Description

TruBlu HR Solutions is seeking an MRI Specialist for a hospital in the Austin area. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience, preferably in pediatrics. Must have completed a formal diagnostic Radiology program and have MR-ARRT, R-ARRT, and CMRT certifications. Responsibilities include checking room daily for adequate stock and maintaining appropriate inventory, confirming patient identity with approved identifiers, demonstrating age appropriate care with all patients, verifying patients’ pregnancy and informed consent statuses, assessing factors that may contraindicate the procedures, determining type and does of contrast agent based on orders, anticipating and responding to patients needs throughout encounters, and other duties as necessary.

7:30a-4p, will take call for the whole week every 3rd week

Skills/Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED
Graduate of a formal diagnostic Radiology program
MR-ARRT – Registered Tech Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)
R-ARRT – Registered Tech Radiography
CMRT – Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist
3 years of MRI experience required
Preferred pediatric experience
Must be well versed in MRI safety
