Job Summary
MRI Applications Specialist
Location: Remote, U.S. preference for Midwest based candidates
Employment Type: Full Time, Direct Hire
Salary: $90,000 to $120,000 per year
We are working with an innovative medical imaging software company that is transforming MRI workflows through advanced cloud based reconstruction technology. They are looking to hire an experienced MRI Applications Specialist to support customers nationwide during installation, training, and ongoing clinical use.
This is a remote role with extensive national travel. Candidates based in the Midwest are preferred due to travel efficiency, but strong candidates elsewhere in the U.S. will be considered.
The role:
You will play a key role in ensuring hospitals and imaging centers successfully deploy and maximize the value of an AI driven MRI reconstruction platform. This involves hands on installation support, protocol optimization, training, and ongoing clinical and technical troubleshooting.The role requires regular travel and close collaboration with clinical users, sales, and internal product teams.
Key responsibilities:
  • Install and configure MRI software at customer sites, including scan parameter optimization and network setup.
  • Establish and troubleshoot connections between MRI systems, PACS, and DICOM workflows.
  • Train MRI technologists and clinical teams on correct and optimal use of the software.
  • Support customers with image quality questions, protocol optimization, and clinical workflow improvements.
  • Adjust MRI protocols based on patient condition and clinical requirements to achieve faster scans without compromising image quality.
  • Act as a clinical escalation point for technical and image quality issues.
  • Collaborate with sales on pipeline priorities and renewals.
  • Work with product and operations teams on new version rollouts, training, and customer feedback.
  • Maintain MRI safety standards and compliance at all times.
  • Communicate clearly with radiologists, referring physicians, technologists, and site leadership.
  • Document procedures and support activities accurately.

Required background:
  • ARRT MR certification.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent clinical experience.
  • 3 to 5+ years of hands on MRI experience, including advanced neuro and musculoskeletal imaging.
  • Experience working across multiple MRI platforms, including GE, Siemens, and Philips.
  • Strong understanding of DICOM and PACS connectivity.
  • Proven experience optimizing protocols and troubleshooting image quality issues.
  • Strong communication skills and confidence working directly with customers.
  • Comfortable working independently in different clinical environments.
  • Willingness to travel nationally up to 65 to 70 percent of the time.
