Team Overview:

Impinj is seeking a highly motivated Software Engineering Intern to join our team and assist in building out our test infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a passion for software development, a strong understanding of testing methodologies, and a desire to contribute to the development of robust and scalable test frameworks. This internship will provide hands-on experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and an opportunity to work alongside experienced engineers on real-world projects.

What you will do:

Assist in the design and implementation of automated test frameworks and tools to support software development and quality assurance processes.
Contribute to the development of test plans, test cases, and test scripts for various components of our software products.
Collaborate with the software engineering team to integrate testing infrastructure into the continuous integration and delivery pipeline.
Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve code quality and test coverage.
Debug and troubleshoot issues in the test environment and work with the team to resolve them.
Document testing procedures, results, and best practices to enhance knowledge sharing within the team.

What you will bring:

Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Strong programming skills in languages such as C#, JavaScript, or Python.
Familiarity with software testing methodologies and frameworks (e.g., NUnit, SpecFlow, Gherkin, Qunit).
Basic understanding of continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) concepts and tools (e.g. GitHub Actions).
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Self-motivated and eager to learn new technologies and methodologies.
