Systems Technician I

Role:

Our Systems Technician I will be responsible for the successful operation of data processing including routine computer system operations and functions; deployment, support and maintenance of software; maintains supplies, logs and schedules.

Work Location:

This is an onsite position. Occasional remote work may be available for select positions and is subject to prior approval by management.

What you will be doing:

• Accurately and timely follows, executes, and maintains the daily, month-end, and year-end operations schedule and Information Technology’s job log.
• Troubleshoots core system errors to ensure the completion of all required jobs; and provides information to departments.
• Operates and maintains system printers; monitors inventory of computer room supplies and orders.
• Provides software support to Credit Union staff in the following areas: in-house computer software and internet/internal network, internet, and telephone system.
• Researches and provides timely resolutions to outstanding Help Desk trouble tickets.
• Assists with the development of departmental procedures. Develops, writes, executes and verifies proprietary system procedures, reports and job schedules.
• Must be prepared to participate in Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity, or Incident Response scenarios.
• Designs, supports, and implements automation of processes for the core system, the credit union network, and with third party systems.
• Maintains working knowledge of systems operations for all shifts.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
