Job Description

A successful Senior Project Manager at RAM Construction will provide the highest level of service and quality implementing all members of the construction team starting with preconstruction services, throughout project construction, and finishing with successful project close out.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Full project responsibility in all areas of construction and construction management.
  • Must be able to perform project pre-construction activities including, estimating, bidding, value engineering and scheduling.
  • Manage project scheduling, scheduling updates, schedule management and documentation.
  • Responsible for project quality control and quality assurance that construction meets or exceeds the plans, specifications, codes, and approved shop drawings.
  • Responsible for change order estimating, tracking and commitments.
  • Project documentation, correspondence, records, paperwork, shop drawings, submittals, procurement schedule, RFI’s etc..
  • Open communication with management.
  • Train and develop team members for overall company growth.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field (preferred) OR equivalent experience working for a commercial GC.
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience Managing Projects in commercial construction.
  • Has adept knowledge of all principals of construction, methods, techniques, print reading, contracting, and construction management.
  • Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite, project management software (Procore), accounting cost management software (Procore), and scheduling software.
  • 100% detailed/hands-on knowledge of project scope.
  • Experience with running multiple projects, preferably within RAM Construction’s core markets.
  • Excellent listening skills and strong communication skills.
  • Ability to create and support team morale.

Schedule:

  • 7:30 am to 4:30 pm
  • Monday to Friday
