Clinical Training Manager

SUMMARY

The Clinical Training Manager is responsible for developing, assessing, administering and revising training material for all positions in the clinics.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

• Manage the overall Training Program strategy, planning and outcomes
• Establish the training team and coordinate training task deliverables
• Participate in regular training status calls with Allscripts Training Consultant and Education PM
• Report training status/outcomes to leadership
• Maintain training schedules
• Assist with staff scheduling (eLearning/classroom)
• Generate staff training completion reports
• Manage scheduling of classrooms
• Participate in regular training status calls
• Attend workflow drive sessions / Partner with Project SMEs
• Compile workflows/build decisions that impact training
• Develop training content/materials
• Deliver TTT to Client Trainers
• May assist with developing training materials
• Mentoring/Coaching during activation
• Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• Associate Degree preferred
• Experience with project management and EMR conversions. Healthcare background preferred

• Highly organized and detail oriented with good interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills
• Ability to maintain confidential information.
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong organization and leadership skills

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Body Positions: Sitting and standing for prolonged periods.
• Body Movements: Arm and hand dexterity.
• Body Senses: Must have command of close and distant sight, color perception and hearing.
• Strength: Ability to lift and move up to 25-pounds.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

• Work in an office, where the climate is controlled
• Occasional travel between medical groups and/or hospitals when necessary. 0-25 % of the time.
• OSHA exposure category: III
• Category I – Position includes tasks that involve exposure to Blood borne Pathogens.
• Category II – Position includes tasks that do not have exposure to Bloodborne Pathogens, however employment may require unplanned Category I tasks.
• Category III – Positions includes tasks that do not involve exposure to Bloodborne Pathogens. This position would not be required to perform Category I tasks.
