Mobile Staff Solutions is now hiring for a Lifting/Rigging Supervisor in the Tampa area. Steel fabrication experience required!
MUST HAVES/EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/Preferences
• Knowledge of EPA/EPC, OSHA, and DOT regulations in manufacturing/fabrication industries preferred.
• Forklift, rigging, crane hand signals, crane usage, DOT/FEDHWY safety.
• Monitor and check loads to ensure all parts are loaded safely and correctly.
• Train, coach & mentor operations leaders, and employees in the tools, procedures, and requirements for the equipment involved in over-dimensional shipping and critical lifts.
• Lead and/or assist in the development of safety procedures, critical lift plans, organization, programs, and training to Keep Men Safe, Keep Operations Efficient, and Keep Risk Minimized.
• Maintenance of, monitoring & continuously improving company equipment involved in over-dimensional loads & critical lifts.
• Operate/ manage all equipment & rigging inspections & control documentation for inspections.
• Oversight of testing and certification of all critical lift equipment IE: load cells and rigging.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
• Coordinate and plan safety protocols for all critical lifts and over-dimensional loading by communicating with the Superintendents, Logistics Coordinator, shop Shipping Managers, and Project Managers.
• Monitor and check loads to ensure all parts are loaded safely and correctly.
• Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of all Safety procedures and protocols regarding over-dimensional loading and shipping as well as all critical lifts in the yards of all facilities.
• Train, coach, and mentor operations leaders, and employees in the tools, procedures, and requirements for the equipment involved in over-dimensional shipping and critical lifts.
• Effectively communicate and collaborate with Corporate and facility leadership to ensure safety strategies and production needs are satisfied.
• Lead and/or assist in the development of safety procedures, critical lift plans, organization, programs, and training to Keep Men Safe, Keep Operations Efficient, and Keep Risk Minimized.
• Ensure proper maintenance of, monitoring and continuously improving company equipment involved in over-dimensional loads and critical lifts.
• Perform and manage all equipment and rigging inspections and control documentation for inspections.

Delivering better candidates by customizing the screening and assessment process for each and every customer.
