Punch and Make Ready Apartment Maintenance Technician

Premier Placements is hiring Make Ready / Punch Techs to work temp and temp-to-perm performing turnkey work in vacant apartments to get them ready for the next renter.

Pay: $20 per hour paid weekly each Friday.

Schedule: Monday-Friday between 8 am and 6 pm. No weekends, NO ON-CALL

Location: Metro Atlanta. We service communities all around the Metro-Atlanta Area including Cobb, Fulton, DeKalb, and Gwinnett counties!

Punch/Make Ready Technician Qualifications:

• Must have 6 months of working in residential, building, or hotel maintenance-related fields utilizing basic principles of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and painting.
• Ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Self-motivated with the capacity to efficiently work with minimal supervision.
• Rational decision-making and the capacity to use sound judgment.
• Professional attitude and appearance at all times.
• Own and utilize basic hand tools for maintenance work.
• Reliable transportation is required.

Punch/Make Ready Technician Responsibilities:

• Assist in trash pickup on the property.
• Proactively assess and promptly report any unsafe conditions to the Property Manager and/or Maintenance Supervisor.
• Must be aware of all utility meter cut-offs, apartment and fixture cut-offs and sewer clean-outs prior to doing any work for which this information is necessary.
• Change locks and make keys as needed.
• Assist in moving appliances to or from the apartment.
• Adhere to safety standards, using personal protective equipment when needed.
• Routine maintenance of various fixtures such as shutters, doors, and windows.
• Regularly replace A/C filters.
• Perform general plumbing and basic electrical work including replacing/fixing toilets, faucets, light switches, electrical outlets, ceiling fans and light fixtures.
• Repair holes in walls and paint.

Physical Demands & Work Environment:

• Inside and outside work in all types of weather is required.
• Prolonged or repeated standing, walking, climbing, kneeling and crouching is required.
• Frequently lift 50+ pounds across variable distances.

Should your skill level qualify, we are also hiring Non-Certified Maintenance Techs - $21.50 per hour and EPA Certified Maintenance Techs - $23
