Apartment Make Ready technicians are responsible for preparing vacant units for new residents, which includes tasks like cleaning, painting, minor repairs, replacing fixtures, and checking appliances for functionality. To get hired as an apartment make ready technician, applicants should have basic cleaning and maintenance skills, a good work ethic, and the ability to follow safety protocols. Relevant experience or certifications in property maintenance can improve chances, and employers often look for reliable candidates willing to work flexible hours. Applying through online job boards, company websites, or in person at the property can help secure an interview.
