Pacesetter Personnel Services is hiring a​ Make-Ready / Maintenance Technician in West Houston, TX 77077


Pay:
$23.00 an hour. We pay weekly.

Schedule:
​Shift hours are flexible Monday-Friday between 9 a.m.–5 p.m. or 8 a.m.–4 p.m.
Weekends as needed.


​​We are seeking a reliable Maintenance & Make-Ready Technician to maintain and repair residential rental properties. The ideal candidate will have experience performing general maintenance, troubleshooting household repairs, and ensuring homes are safe and move-in ready.

Job Duties:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on residential homes.
  • Diagnose and repair household appliances.
  • Repair and replace garbage disposals.
  • Identify and fix shower and plumbing leaks.
  • Apply and replace caulking as needed in kitchens, bathrooms, and exterior areas.
  • Complete make-ready tasks for vacant homes to ensure units are ready for new residents.
  • Conduct property inspections and report maintenance concerns.
  • Maintain tools and equipment, and keep the work area clean.
  • Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner.

Requirements:

  • Previous maintenance, handyman, apartment maintenance, or make-ready experience preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of plumbing, appliance repair, and general home maintenance.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and complete repairs independently.
  • Must be able to lift to 50 lbs and perform physical labor, including bending, kneeling, and climbing ladders.
  • ​Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
