Territory Sales Representative

Mandatory: Specialty Food "Sales" Experience
Job Summary:
This is an outside sales position responsible for:
1) achieving established Sales and Profit goals
2) building relationships with New and Existing accounts
3) being the category go-to-source for Customers and Partners
4) developing a sustainable and profitable book of business
Primary Duties:
- Develop New Accounts
- Grow Existing Accounts
- Identify & Qualify New Prospects
- Anticipate & Fulfil Customer Needs
- Seek & Close New Business Oppty.
- Evaluate Market & Category Trends
- Increase EBC’s Share-of-Category/Shelf, Display and Points-Of-Distribution
- Ensure Impactful & Effective presentation of brands, products, tags, POS/POP etc.
- Develop account activity & business plan; and territory sales, budget & profits reports
- Manage Customer Q&A, Training, Ordering, Delivery, Billing, Payment Collection etc.
- Drive personal vehicles to customer accounts, events, shows, company meetings etc.
- Provide weekly updates and perform administrative and other duties that may be assigned
Qualifications:
- Education
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Sales, Marketing, or related discipline (OR)
- HSD/GED and 3 years B2B or outside sales experience or equivalent relatable experience
- Mandatory Experience
- Specialty Food Sales
- Growth Hunter (New Customer Acquisition & Existing Customer Development)
- Business Planning & Management
- Preferred Sales Experience
- Specialty Food Broker/Distributor (OR)
- Select Natural/Conventional FDMC+ Retailers (OR)
- Regional Chains, and Independent, Ethnic, and Lifestyle Stores
- Other Requirements
- Entrepreneurial, Self-Starter, and Ability to Influence
- Excellent Communicator and Commercially Intuitive
- Attention to Detail and Excellence in POS Execution
- Basic PC, Excel, Word, Power-Point, and Analysis skills
- Valid Driver’s License (incl. no DUI’s in past 3 years)
- Auto Insurance with necessary liability coverages
- Physical Abilities
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Daily travel maybe required
- Ability to get in and out of vehicle multiple times per day
- Ability to set up displays, fixtures, shelving, price tags, and products etc.
- Drive to and from accounts safely in city, rural and expressway conditions
- Adapting to store and warehouse conditions including variances in temperature, dust etc.
Compensation Information:
- 100% Commission, 1099 Role
