Job DescriptionCompany Description
A globally recognized company in Northern Queens is seeking an Mail Clerk to assist with incoming and outgoing mail distribution within a fast-paced corporate environment. THIS IS A 2 WEEK TEMPORARY ASSIGNMENT.
Shift: Monday-Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm
YOU MUST HAVE YOUR OWN VEHICLE FOR TRANSPORTATION.
Requirements:
- Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail
- Arrange for pickups of outgoing mail and parcels
- Ensure the office is stocked with correct mail supplies
- Complete and adjust incorrect returned mai
- Move, organize and pallet items in storage area.
- Sort mail by appropriate category and department
- Time management skills and the ability to work independently required
Qualifications:
- Prior mail room experience highly preferred
- Ability to lift 60+ pounds
- MS Excel & Word proficient
