Producer/Editor

We're seeking a creative and organized Producer/Editor to join our team! You'll oversee all aspects of video production, from concept development and budgeting to meticulous editing. This role requires both vision and technical expertise to bring video projects to life.
The Producer/Editor has the following responsibilities and duties.
- Conceptualize & Plan Videos: Develop creative video ideas, write scripts, and plan project timelines/budgets.
- Manage Pre-Production: Secure locations, hire crew (if needed), and rent equipment.
- Oversee Production: Direct shoots, manage logistics, and ensure high-quality footage capture.
- Expert Video Editing: Utilize editing software to craft compelling video narratives.
- Enhance with Audio & Visuals: Integrate sound effects, music, and graphics (potentially with specialists).
- Maintain Brand Consistency: Ensure videos adhere to brand guidelines and visual style.
- Deliver Across Platforms: Export videos in various formats for different distribution channels.
- Client Communication: Collaborate with clients/stakeholders throughout the project.
- Meet Deadlines & Budget: Deliver projects on time and within budget constraints.
- Stay Current with Industry: Maintain knowledge of video production trends and software
The Production Editor should have the following:
● A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience (must include experience in a video production environment)
● Knowledge of shooting and editing videos
● Maintain a positive, enthusiastic attitude while working in a team environment
● Demonstrated skill with video editing software platforms
● Extensive knowledge of video production equipment
● Excellent organization with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with team members and clients
● A collaborative mindset and ability to work with varying and changing needs
● Ability to work independently
● Ability to manage numerous projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
● Ability to operate and carry camera equipment (up to 30 lbs)
● Deep understanding of the media marketplace and the opportunities for strategic content

- Salary: $30/hr at 30 hours/week
