Purpose

We are looking for a builder to join our creative team.ย  A social first creative editor who puts ideas first, cares about craft, and can create exciting rabbit holes into our clients worlds. A fearless creator with a great understanding of social media marketing, who is always looking for new and exciting ways to engage audiences. A storyteller armed with a social-first POV,ย  who has a strong ability to execute original integrated content in a fast-paced environment.ย ย 

Job Responsibilities
  • Conceive and edit social first content, including teasers and trailers, for entertainment projects. Must be an expert in social/digital first entertainment content for theatrical and streaming campaigns.ย 
  • Collaborate with producers, motion graphics, music, and finishing teams to ensure creative vision is achieved
  • Take creative risks, elevating both production and editorial elements to produce engaging content
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and assist in bringing creative ideas to life
  • Consistently align creative output with client objectives, social specs, and platform best practices
Required Skills
  • Expert proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro with experience in sound design, audio editing, and cleanup
  • Familiarity with Adobe After Effects. We need a rock star who is comfortable with motion graphics work to help sell an idea through.
  • Proven creative success in storytelling with social first entertainment campaigns and an understanding of social media best practices and audience engagement strategies
  • Knowledge of social platform specs and best practices (ie. safe zones, lengths, etc)ย 
  • A conceptual thinker capable of developing entertaining, platform-specific content with a strong focus on short-form storytelling
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects with tight deadlines, working efficiently while maintaining a strong attention to detail.ย 
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels within the company and external partners
  • Minimum of four years of experience editing social first entertainment and brand campaign content and creative assets
  • Must provide a reel showcasing finished work
