LEAD CARPENTER/ WORKING FOREMAN

SEA Construction, Inc. is a premier design and build firm located in San Mateo. Over the last 3 decades, we’ve designed and constructed over 3,400 homes in the San Francisco Bay Area. We specialize in additions, full home renovations and any portion thereof, particularly baths and kitchens. Since our inception in 1989, we’ve become a leader in design, remodeling, and additions in San Francisco and on the Peninsula.

We are offering a full-time position for a qualified person who is seeking long term employment with an established company that promotes growth. We are looking for a team player with management experience who enjoys building, has a positive attitude, can work under limited supervision, and has excellent work ethics, and is eager to learn.

Skills Required:

• Proficient in reading and speaking English
• Architectural and Structural Blueprint Reading and Execution
• General Construction / Remodeling experience
• Wood Framing / Roof Cutting / Window and Door Installations
• Stair Construction
• Concrete Foundations
• Deck Building
• Millwork and Cabinetry Installation, All Trim Work

Requirements to Apply:

• Have a minimum of 12 years’ experience in residential framing and construction
• Must provide at least two professional references in residential construction to be considered
• Work independently, but can delegate and follow directions given by supervisors
• Work well with others
• Possess strong attention to detail, honesty, and integrity
• Be Knowledgeable about building code/ inspection processes
• Communicate effectively with clients, subs, and supervisors
• Own journeymen-level tools
• Hold a Clean DMV record with reliable transportation (proof of insurance)
• Drug free

• Competitive salary commensurate with experience – ($80,000-$110,000)
