Job Description

As part of the North Point team, the Group Coordinator handles administrative duties for Group Sales efforts, working closely with the Sales Managers/ Sales Team to support end-to-end sales and delivery.

Essential Functions:

  • Handles a high volume of customer inquiries while ensuring each guest feels taken care of in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Works with clients and vendors to validate and organize invoices, charge postings and payments.
  • Communicates with groups regularly to ensure deadlines are met and the cancellation policy is understood.
  • Reserves and confirms rooms, meeting space, and banquet space when necessary.
  • Conducts audits of past groups to ensure accurate payment of commissions and/or rebates.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 1+ years’ experience in a similar role, office environment.
  • Preferred hotel experience, preferably with a Marriott or Hilton Brand.

Work Environment:

Professional work environment requiring business casual dress; frequent interactions with guests/clients.
