Assistant Facilities Technician Supervisor

Spyglass Talent Solutions, a retained recruitment firm based in Raleigh, NC, has been engaged by Carolina Sweepers to conduct a search for an Assistant Supervisor, Field Service Technicians.

Carolina Sweepers has been providing quality maintenance services for commercial properties in the area for 20 years. They believe that it is their dedicated and talented team that makes their company a leader within the industry. The Assistant Supervisor will oversee the day-to-day workflow of the Field Service Technician team.

Responsibilities:

· Conduct performance evaluations that are timely and constructive, providing recommendations for promotion and salary adjustment as appropriate.

· Collaborate with team to set performance standards.

· Conduct regular staff meetings to ensure that goals and objectives are clearly communicated; provides guidance and leadership to enable staff to meet these goals and objectives.

· Identify training needs and opportunities; develop and implements a plan for meeting those needs.

· Maintain and develop positive relationships with existing and prospective clients, demonstrating excellent customer service and setting an example for other staff.

· Lead team in various maintenance services including pressure washing, installing signs, property inspection, minor electrical and plumbing work, minor asphalt repair, and welding if experienced.

· Liable to drive a company vehicle, manage a company credit card, and provide paperwork and/or updating company service phone apps.

Requirements:

· 2 years of experience is preferred, but not required.

· Active driver license and clean driving record.

 Ability to pull and back trailers.

· Availability to work early/late and/or on weekends as necessary.

· Ability to work on ladders/roofs and near retention ponds.

· Ability to lift 100 lbs. or more.

· Willingness to work outside in all kinds of weather and come in contact with trash.
