Account / Project Manager

Our Account / Project Manager is responsible for ongoing, proactive project and account management on behalf of our agency, and potentially one or more agency accounts. Account / Project managers will work with external vendors and internal resources to facilitate campaign and creative strategy development, media planning and buying, digital and social media strategy development, implementation, tracking and reporting, and general workflow management.

Our account/project managers should be able to collaborate with the team, allocate necessary resources, and provide purposeful direction in creating strategic marketing plans for our clients while managing all aspects of campaign execution and analysis.

Responsibilities:

• Primary manager of all activities for client(s) and internal projects, as assigned
• Oversees execution of approved campaigns
• Authority on all aspects of client products, services, campaigns and projects and is able to work with internal resources to maintain budgets and timelines
• Meets regularly both internally and externally, as required, to stay informed, report successes and find opportunities for the future
• Effectively presents, sells and promotes all agency work/proposals to clients and/or supports client services team members in these functions
• Intimately familiar with assigned clients’ brand, products and/or services and all marketing developments
• Enter and manage all client jobs and projects through agency’s project management software
• Regularly checks for and responds promptly to all communications
• Assists in preparing invoices, proposals, marketing communications and strategic marketing plans, media and public relations plans
• Create estimates/proposals for digital and traditional tactics including content, creative, production and placement/implementation
• Responsible for quality control: checks and approves digital/web creative/production materials, content, layouts, and production art, and coordinates client approvals.
• Experience with website process and management from initial client intake to final launch of website
• Coordinates project timing and budgets with all relevant agency personnel
• Cultivate new projects/business from client contacts and keeps continuous business development top of mind
• Represents agency professionally at industry and community functions

Requirements:

We are looking for experienced professionals with proactive ability to jump in and get started. Qualified candidates should have the following:

• Four-year degree in advertising, marketing, or similar with 5 years of experience preferred
• Experience as an account/project manager in an agency or corporate environment
• Computer skills: Microsoft Office Suite, Proficient in Google Suite of Services; project management software, Function Fox and MS Teams, while not necessary – a plus
• High level of accountability and work ethic
• Demonstrate the ability to relate and work well with its direct and higher reports, clients and peers
• Knowledge of the Space and Energy industries a plus

Position is full-time, and the new hire will enjoy a hybrid schedule that includes both in-office / remote work hours. Will consider remote schedule dependent on candidates geographic location.
