Senior Solution Architect - 52809

We have an immediate long-term opportunity with one of our largest clients for a position of Senior Solution Architect, to work in Princeton, NJ.

Responsibilities:

• Design architectures to meet both functional and non-functional requirements, considering high complexity and large data volumes.
• Implement technology solutions and align business requirements with systems/technical requirements to ensure alignment with Enterprise architecture and technology roadmaps.
• Apply technical expertise to architectural solutions that meet business and IT needs, ensuring long-term technical viability of deployments and maximizing return on technology investments.
• Ensure compliance with relevant requirements and guidelines including system performance, monitoring, auditability, and security aspects.

Qualifications:

• 15+ years of experience in software development with expertise in clean coding, object-oriented development principles, patterns, and agile practices.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure Stack (APIM, Azure LogicApps, Azure Data Factory).
• Experience with Logic Apps, Design patterns, ESB's, and building Policy Admin systems (PAS), claims, and billing systems for large carriers.
• Exposure to legacy modernization systems, particularly in the insurance domain, is advantageous.
• Strong programming background with expertise in building and implementing cloud applications (Azure) and delivering interactive web sites and user interfaces.
• 8+ years of experience in implementing solutions using the Microsoft tech stack (.NET Core, C#, Visual Studio / VS Code).
• Experience with microservice architectures, containers, and cloud services, including integration with microservices.
• Proficiency in API technologies such as REST APIs, API management, JSON, Swagger, and authentication mechanisms (OAuth2, JWT, TLS).
• Understanding of DevOps principles, preferably with VSTS and Git, including source control, branching, merging, and code reviews.
• Knowledge of maintenance topics like version control, automated deployment/testing, and experience with databases (SQL Server).
• Familiarity with TDD (Test-Driven Development), unit testing, and automated testing frameworks.
• Excellent analysis, modeling, and design skills with the ability to apply consistent architectural patterns and coding frameworks.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills to interact with business users and team members professionally.
• Preferred knowledge of the insurance domain and Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance.
• Knowledge of Azure services such as Blob, Logic App, Function App, APIM is advantageous.
