Northeast Private Trustees (NPT) (Medfield, MA) seeks a full-time Senior Trust Administrator with a focus on client service and trust administration. The Senior Trust Administrator's primary role is to manage trust relationships and administer client accounts. The position works across the firm and externally to ensure positive relationships and the security of clients' trust assets to achieve objectives specific to each trust and estate. The position is a dual role, also working as part of NPT's sister company, Borchers Cusano Trust Law, P.C. (BCTL) on related accounts.

Position Supervises: NPT Trust Administrators
Primary Responsibilities
- Responsible for all aspects of account administration, including internal procedural compliance
- Serve as the trust/custody relationship manager and primary point of contact with relevant parties
- Process and oversee the establishment of new accounts
- Work with investment advisors to establish and review investment objectives
- Prepare account information for regular beneficiary reviews and committee presentations
- Facilitate and oversee routine account transactions, monitoring, and maintenance
- Ensure day-to-day fulfillment of client needs to enhance client satisfaction
- Supervise firm's Trust Administrators and assign/manage appropriate workload
- Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner to ensure client satisfaction and fiduciary oversight
- Attend internal and external training on fiduciary related matters
- Assist in the enhancement of firmwide processes to ensure compliance and administration standards
- Network in the trust and estate professional community
- Work with BCTL Estate Administration and other Departments to ensure seamless service across firms
Professional Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in finance or business required
- 3+ years of client-facing experience at a trust, investment, or financial firm with emphasis on fiduciary relationships
- Trust/fiduciary or financial certification preferred
- Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements for trusts and estates
- Understanding of personal, charitable, and employee benefit trust documentation a plus
- Ability to exercise independent judgment consistent with trust policies and procedures
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Experience in effectively managing the needs of a wide range of constituents in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently with strong prioritization and organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients or visit other offices
Compensation: Anticipated salary of $70-$90k depending on qualifications and experience
