General Responsibilities/Job Summary

Responsible for providing operational support to the Franchise Operations Department. The Operations Analyst & Support plays a critical role in developing and implementing operational changes to the system based on the analysis of new/current franchises.

Job Responsibilities

Autopart Warehouse Management System

• Train and support new/current franchises on Autopart.
• Overseeing bug resolution, new development requests, and requirements definition.
• Manipulating data files for import/export.
• Auditing/comparing/reconciling reports and data files.

Operational Support to Existing Franchises

• Evaluate our company’s operational and financial deficiencies and make recommendations to improve efficiency.
• Train new and current franchise employees in inventory management as well as standard operating procedures used throughout the system.
• Work with franchises in helping to troubleshoot any problems or questions with Autopart.
• Report all franchise year-end financials and make a record of those submitted to the Summit Club.

Support in Resales and Initial Setups

• Analyze and calculate the initial inventory level for each product line based on the territory of that specific franchise.
• Provide physical help in the initial setup of the warehouse (racking, bin locations, product placement, warehouse structure, etc.)
• Ensure that Autopart is running correctly and detail common reports that will help improve operational efficiency.
• Provide and explain standard operating procedures in the system.

Analyze the Value Added to Potential Franchises

• Create Margin Analysis reports for potential franchise owners that demonstrates the value added of becoming a Mighty franchise.
• Gather information online to help with cross-referencing part numbers for the potential franchise owners’ current customers.

Create Training Tools and Guidelines

• Develop and be creative in making training programs for the system to reference for any new or current employees.
• Establish performance metrics based on the analysis of successful franchise owners.

Requirements

Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong computer skills, especially Microsoft Office and proficient in Excel. Ability and desire to learn how to create reports and dashboards within our business intelligence program, MicroStrategy. Analytical skills to summarize large data sets into reports and dashboards. The ability to lift more than 40 pounds and willingness to get your hands dirty.

Experience

Ideal Candidate would have: 

• Bachelor's degrees in business administration, finance, facilities management, industrial engineering, or equivalent. 
• 1 - 2 years in customer centric role with a sense of urgency. 
• 1 - 2 years of operational experience (warehouse or distribution center) is a plus. 

Working Conditions

Daily office hours are generally from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday with occasional weekend responsibilities. Domestic travel in the 25% - 35% range is required.

Authority

The Operations Analyst will report to the Director of Franchise Operations. Resources will be allocated, and authority given to carry out the responsibilities of this position.
