Currently a 4x10 Schedule T-F

Responsibilities

  • Interpret data utilizing parts planning systems and execute the material flow objectives of the Parts Distribution Department. 
  • Monitor the execution of workload for the distribution of parts to internal and external customers to ensure on time delivery. 
  • Accountable for administering measurement reports and proactively alerting management of the action taken to correct the issues when goals have not been attained.
  • Utilize parts planning tools such manual forecasting, service demand planning, MRP, buffer management, production orders, purchase orders, sales orders, customer orders and ERP reporting in order to analyze and explain when anomalies occur. 
  • Assist purchasing and manufacturing to target problem areas with inventory levels.
  • Analyze current distribution and planning processes and explore improvement opportunities.
  • Monitor parts that are not available prior to release of order to prevent back orders.   
  • Communicate to the Warehouse Manager, Distribution Operations Administrator, and department supervisors any issues that may impact or improve distribution efforts. 
  • Support the Distribution Center in slotting, continuous improvement, back-up other positions and developing standard work instructions. 

Qualifications

  • 2-4 years related experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Good computer skills and basic understanding of enterprise resource planning software (SAP) and other desktop applications (Microsoft Office, Power BI).
