Director, Weisman Community Center

Ruth & Norman Rales Jewish Family Services is currently hiring a full-time Community Center Director for the Weisman Center. This position will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the center. This position will also be responsible for overseeing the community center staff, volunteers, program administration and building maintenance.

Required Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree
• Minimum 5 year's experience overseeing programs related to social services and geriatric care
• Minimum 5 years office management, facilities management, program coordination and volunteer management
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and data related software
• Strong Communication and Interpersonal skills
• Demonstrates ability to form relationships and work cooperatively with multiple levels of staff and as part of a team
• Responsibly manage assigned budgets
• Demonstrates ability to implement and manage business processes
• Ability to handle multiple responsibilities concurrently with effective prioritization skills
• Self-starting ability requires minimal direction with job related activities
• Anticipates challenges, identifies procedural shortfalls, recommends improvements and recognizes future needs of the organization
• Willingness to learn new technology and software
• Willingness to see a task through to completion
• Demonstrates good judgment and professionalism at all times
• Assists in creating a culturally competent environment
• Flexibility to work as needed
