Calling all Technical Software Analysts (Health Care)

Support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Office of Electronic Health Record Modernization (OEHRM) as an Access Office Provisioning Team Member.
Access Office members support appropriate regional leads at VA Medical Centers in ensuring all activities to properly provision users leading up to OEHRM go-lives are conducted. This includes coordination between VA and Cerner system leads and following OEHRM Access Office processes.
Responsibilities:
- Follow all processes and SOPs for provisioning
- Coordinate with and support User Request Access Coordinators (URACs) at VA Medical Center deployment sites to ensure users are provisioned for each go live event, as well as educate them on user access/provisioning process refinements and data quality improvement initiatives.
- Participate in user role and user profile data quality audits and analyses
- Timely process provisioning requests
- Conduct all data validation necessary for successful processing of requests
Basic qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience. An additional 8 years of relevant experience may be substituted for degree requirements
- Experience with planning, designing, and overseeing deployment of complex enterprise-wide or large-scale information architectures including computer hardware and software, operating systems, middleware, communications hardware and software, and security components.
- Able to ensure these systems are compatible and in compliance with the standards for open systems architectures as they apply to the implementation and specification of complex information management solutions.
- Able to identify necessary interfaces between enterprise solution applications and legacy IT environments.
- Supports all program/project planning and milestone development.
- Supports business case analysis and identification of alternative solutions and resulting business impacts.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in the VA or DoD
- Experience implementing EHR
- Experience implementing or using ServiceNow or other comparable applications that use automated approval workflows
- Experience with user system access request processing and provisioning
- Experience working in a business analyst or other health IT role in a health care setting
- Experience that demonstrates understanding of different inpatient and outpatient clinical department roles and operations
- Experience managing a workstream or teams of 4 or more individuals
- PMP Certification
- Scrum Master Certification
