Primary Responsibilities:

Client

+ Support / coordinate efforts of the USAC team.

+ Serve as a liaison between GT and the client; develop relationships with senior staff

+ Provide Agile / Product Management SME support for team and for clients

+ Advise on Product Management organization for the customer - vision, operating model, RACI, product identification, etc.

GT

+ Create Go-To-Market Experience Design and Product Management solution offerings for the Public Sector- Cultivate a team of practitioners who can deliver design thinking facilitation and product management coaching

+ Support experience design and product management branding efforts in the public sector market

+ Perform engagement management responsibilities, including performance reviews, task delegation, project scheduling, project financials, quality review and client management.

+ Meet or exceed sales targets for new and follow-on work.

+ Manage business development activities, such as proposals, capture, account teams, whitepapers, conferences, and/or other thought leadership materials.

+ Meet or exceed targeted billing hours (utilization).

+ Act as performance manager (coach) for coachees outside of engagement responsibilities.

Secondary Responsibilities:

+ Ability to work independently with minimal direction

+ Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in writing and verbally

+ Ability to lead and facilitate meetings and sessions

+ Attention to detail

Qualifications & Experience

+ Experience in design thinking including qualitative research (planning and conducting), analysis, ideation, prototyping, user testing, and implementation.

+ Product Management credentials a plus.

+ Up-to-date understanding of market trends and keen interest in following emerging technologies, UX best practices, and product management processes.

+ Experience in public sector consulting, or equivalent.

+ Understanding and experience implementing products according to the US Digital Service principles and playbook.

+ Proven track record of leading and delivering large and complex products and services.

Five or more years of experience with the following:

+ Facilitating ideation and strategy workshops with both clients and stakeholders.

+ Creating research plans, leading user and secondary research, and synthesizing results into written reports.

+ Defining product vision and strategy that delivers differentiated value based on user needs.

+ Translating product strategy into planned work by developing feature backlogs, user stories, milestones, and release schedules.

+ Prioritizing features based on customer/user needs.

+ Establishing a shared vision by building consensus on priorities leading to product execution.

+ Leveraging the expertise of cross-functional teams to look at problems from different points of view, translating human-centered insights into solutions to solve people's problems.

+ Simplifying complex and technical concepts to guide planning and prioritization, and seamlessly integrate all moving parts in order to release high-quality products.

+ Leveraging OKRs, KPIs, and tactical metrics to measure business value, outcomes and feature usage

+ Supporting technical architecture decisions including cloud migration based on business measures such as risk, security, etc.

+ Supporting retirement of legacy products based on business and user criteria

Client and Project Description: USAC was previously a highly decentralized organization, with its four programs acting in silos. The organization recognizes that its Enterprise Architecture function is nascent, and is looking to move along the maturity curve. GT is helping the customer mature its Enterprise Architecture function.

Team Description: The USC EA Team is providing Enterprise Architecture, Business Architecture, Cloud Strategy, Product Management, GIS support to the CIO/DCIO at USAC>

Required Capabilities: O&OT-Agile & Program Management

Required Skills: Agile - SCRUM, Project / Program Agile Lifecycle Management , Program and Project Management

Required Technologies: Office 365 (O365)

Additional Skill/Certification/Language Notes:

+ No certs needed, but resources must have significant experience delivering in Agile and Product environments.

+ PMP (preferred)

+ Experience with Agile software development methodologies and tools like Atlassian Jira, Trello, etc.

+ Experience communicating visually using Adobe Creative Cloud, Mural, UXPin, Figma or other prototyping and digital whiteboarding tools (nice to have)
