Special Needs Paraprofessional (Contract, PT)

• Communicate with parents and other teachers to suggest instructional approaches and strategies.
• Complete all grading and create progress reports in a timely manner.
• Review curriculum and devise alternate approaches to lessons, as needed.
• Implement and teach appropriate behaviors and regulation of behaviors.
• Communicate regularly with parents.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Excellent communication skills and a team player.
• Demonstrate a high-energy approach to teaching.
• Collaborates with instructional staff, other school personnel, parents, and a variety of community resources for the purpose of improving the overall quality of student outcomes.
• Participates in team Training.
• Responds to inquiries from a variety of sources (e.g. other teachers, parents, administrators, etc.) for the purpose of resolving issues, providing information and/or direction.
• A high degree of flexibility and understanding of behavior strategies.
• A loving and understanding heart.
• Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card.
