CCB Technology - Finance & Business Management (Consumer Lending) - Associate

The CCB Technology Finance and Business Management (F&BM) team supports the Consumer Lending Head of Technology (HoT) and Line of Business (LOB) Chief Financial Officers (CFO) by providing pertinent and timely analysis of business unit financial performance. This role is primarily responsible for financial planning, forecasting and analytics support for the Home Lending and Auto Technology teams.
F&BM operates in close cooperation with the following groups to prepare management reports and analysis while achieving overall departmental goals:
- Consumer Lending HoT and direct reports
- Lending and Auto Technology CFO
- Home Lending and Auto P&A (Planning & Analysis)
- CCB Technology Finance & Business Management
- CCB Controllers
- Preparation, consolidation, review and detailed analysis of a number of key financial activities including, but not limited to:
- Monthly Headcount and Expense Forecast
- Annual Budget
- Labor Metrics
- Scenario Analysis
- Management Reporting
- Weekly Approval Requests
- Incoming / Outgoing Allocations
- Risk & Opportunity Tracking
- Hierarchy Maintenance
- Monthly Accruals
- Location Strategy
- Execution of the above processes with an emphasis on accuracy and timeliness of meeting deliverables on prescribed timetables / calendars
- Lead additional one-off and repeatable analyses as required by senior management
- Communicate and coordinate effectively with the lines of business and corporate functional areas
- Support ad hoc projects as necessary
- 3+ years professional experience in handling and analyzing large amounts of data
- Experience in the consolidation, review, analysis and presentation of Financials
- Experience with internal financial systems such as Essbase and SAP preferred
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field
- Exceptional analytical, problem solving, critical thinking and project management skills with a proven track record of execution against deliverables
- Excellent oral and written communication and relationship management skills
- Detail-oriented and ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment with frequently changing priorities and to meet deadlines under pressure
- People skills
- Self-starter who is driven to excel in all aspects of their role and seeks to break the status-quo and initiate improvements where necessary
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel & PowerPoint in particular)
- Previous experience in a finance / planning role in banking, technology or financial services strongly preferred
