Senior Paralegal with 5 or more years of experience

We have an opening in our Irvine office for a litigation paralegal with at least 3 years of civil litigation experience in both state and federal court. The work you will be doing will be primarily focused on civil litigation regarding our areas of practice, including public agency defense litigation, municipal law, and code enforcement.

Paralegal responsibilities include organizing cases and caseloads, trial preparation and assistance at trials, document review and production, drafting and responding to discovery, court filings, subpoenas, service of process, e-filing, docketing/calendaring, research and working closely with court clerks and departments.

The ideal candidate will be proactive and versatile, with excellent attention to detail, a strong work ethic, law firm experience and a passion for civil litigation. Candidates should possess excellent organizational, writing, and analytical skills, have knowledge of the California Rules of Court, state and federal rules of procedure, working with PDF programs, Microsoft Office and litigation calendaring. Expertise in law and motion procedures and a valid paralegal certificate are required.
