Texas Business Lenders Group, LLC, is seeking an experienced Commercial Credit Admin Specialist. Based in Fort Worth, we are a Credit Union Service Organization that serves the Member Business Lending functions for multiple Credit Unions primarily in Texas, including EECU. We provide underwriting and credit analysis, loan documentation, and servicing for commercial loans of our client credit unions.

This position will be responsible for tracking incoming documents,
financial statements, and other required monitoring items from borrowers for
commercial loans and upload incoming items to a document archival system. This position is eligible for a $500 sign on bonus.

The incumbent will
assist with accurate reporting of outstanding items pending from borrowers and
communicate with lending department staff members at client credit unions for
inaccurate or missing documentation. Must
be detail oriented with the ability to scan and index loan documents to
maintain organized loan file archives.

Candidates should
have a moderate general working knowledge of monitoring items and terms required in commercial loan agreements and be able to identify (not produce)
tax returns, financial statements, documentation, compliance, escrow, and collateral/UCC requirements for
commercial borrowers.

Additional secondary
duties may include back up and assistance for other loan operations staff or
special projects, primarily related to loan portfolio monitoring and reporting,
as needed.

Candidates for the Commercial Credit Administration specialist position should possess the following education, knowledge and experience:

  • High school diploma, or equivalent. College degree or partial completion of coursework preferred but not required.
  • A moderate general working knowledge of all types of entity documentation, compliance, escrow, and collateral/UCC requirements for commercial borrowers.
  • Ability to identify (not produce) tax returns and other financial statements.
  • Working knowledge of typical commercial loan documentation.
  • Good written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills with ability to explain documentation requirements.
  • 1-3 years' experience in servicing of commercial loans for a financial institution in some capacity, preferably with knowledge of, or experience with, monitoring requirements and commercial loan terms, documentation, and/or escrow servicing
  • Problem solving skills and ability to prioritize.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) and moderate keyboard skills.
