The Credit Manager is responsible for leading a team to support "Best Local Supply House" by aligning credit strategy with customer experience and fostering strong local relationships. They will ensure credit goals are met, drive customer satisfaction, develop associates, and achieve an efficient work environment. Through effective leadership, the Area Credit Manager will cultivate a positive culture and ensure reasonable return on receivable investment for the market(s)they lead.

\Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the management of the credit function for a branch or a network of branches within a market.
  • Executes credit strategy at the local level.
  • Regular branch visitation to ensure alignment with sales leadership objectives.
  • Builds customer relationships by spending time in front of customers and in the branch/branches.
  • Manage and lead credit associates in their respective branches, drives a customer first focus and supports a high-performance culture aligned with company values.
  • Coach and develop Credit Managers/Credit Specialists reporting into them.
  • 5+ years experience in professional credit management
