Manual SQA Tester

Responsibilities

• Develop, support, and deliver manual testing strategies and solutions for large-scale applications.
• Gather and analyze data including reviewing systems requirements to write test plans and scripts and then track defects and facilitate their resolution.
• Analyze, design, test, and deliver manual testing solutions for business areas and implement comprehensive software quality assurance strategies.
• Develop manual testing scenarios/user acceptance criteria by understanding business drivers and then analyzing and reviewing requirement specifications and/or user stories.
• Develop, review, and execute manual test plans, test scripts, and test data to ensure application products and services meet the business needs, quality standards, and end-user/non-functional requirements (i.e., environments and user interfaces).
• Document, track, and resolve software defects or issues in collaboration with the Product Delivery Team.

Requirements

• 6+ years of Manual Testing experience.
• Experience with Functional, Non-Functional, and Regression Testing.
• Experience writing test cases, test scenarios, and creating test data for testing.
• Experience analyzing requirements or User Stories across products and applications to identify acceptance criteria, testing cases, and test scenarios.
• Experience with Agile, Cloud-based delivery in close alignment with an application development team.
• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science/Technology, Business Administration, or a closely related field from an accredited college or university; or an equivalent combination of directly related education and/or experience.
