Advantage Resourcing is looking for a Service Writer in the automotive field. The ideal candidate would be detail oriented, and a quick multitasker with a money motivated spirit. We need someone with a teamwork mindset and advanced computer, verbal and written communication and note taking skills. Someone that is organized and able to keep up in a fast paced environment is also very important.

Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service from intake to release of vehicle, and perform any additional follow up
• Listen carefully to customer descriptions and assess the vehicle
• Communicate with the parts department and technicians to make sure everything needed is on hand and the best repair plan is in place.
• Provide updates to customers regularly as well as upon completion
• Answer detailed questions about services performed and price information
• Maintain customer records by keeping all files organized
• Schedule appointments over the phone
• Handle Warranty claims and keep detailed notes

This candidate must also have basic math skills and a strong understanding of auto mechanics. If you have the ability to break down complicated automotive and industry topics as well as understanding scheduling for optimum results, WE NEED YOU! You must also be able to stand, sit, stoop, kneel, and lift up to 25 pounds repeatedly.

This position is a full time, Temp to hire opportunity. The hours will be Monday-Friday 8am-5pm and occasional Saturdays.
