Salary: $80K+

We are looking for a self-motivated individual to join our Team immediately as a Network Field Engineer. This position is ideal for individuals with previous experience with Cisco networking; satellite communication systems; public safety communications; tactical communications; cellular comms; and emergency response applications. 


US Citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance required. **We are willing to sponsor candidates for DoD clearance.**

From mobile support vehicles to fixed command centers, our seasoned professionals use their expertise in operational support and the latest in communications technology to provide customers with reliable, real-time audio, and mission-critical data reporting capabilities.


Primary responsibilities include:

  • Cabling, racking, stacking, power experience
  • Servicing existing accounts, obtain orders, and establish new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors.
  • Setting up administrator and service accounts and maintain system documentation
  • Troubleshooting, maintain integrity and configure network components along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance
  • Providing advice and training to end users
  • Keeping executive management informed by submitting activity and results reports as required
  • Resolving customer complaints by investigating problems in the field; developing solutions with the team; preparing reports/proposals; making recommendations to executive management.
  • Maintaining professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies, seminars and trade events.
  • Travel to customer sites as required (approximately 25% travel)


Skills/Experience required:

  • Previous Cisco networking experience preferred
  • Experience in satellite communication systems, public safety communications, tactical communications, cellular comms, emergency response
  • Cabling, racking, stacking, power experience
  • Previous experience in a military environment (as a contractor or service member)
  • Ability to develop strong customer relationships and work with all levels of management
  • Professional demeanor and communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Solid technical problem solving skills
  • Computer literate, including MS Office software
  • Effective time management, organization and leadership skills
  • HS Diploma required
  • US Citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance required. **We are willing to sponsor candidates for DoD clearance.**
  • Knowledge of sales strategies, concepts and practices desired but not required
  • Candidates with demostrated experience in addition to a CCNA or CCNP certification strongly preferred


Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to assemble and disassemble equipment and devices
  • Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time, climb a laddder and lift up to 50 pounds
