The Senior Project Manager must have experience managing Healthcare Information Technology projects. They must be well-versed in project management methodologies, tracking costs, schedules, and performance progress. Additionally, they must be able to identify and mitigate risks and create a structure and organization for the management of a complex environment with emphasis on quantity, productivity, and consistency. Expertise with the Federal Healthcare IT (Veteran's Health Administration) is preferred.

The Senior Project Manager would oversee all tasks and make sure deliverables are checked for quality, submitted on time and executed within budget with the appropriate resources. They must be able to direct corrective actions in any area where performance falls below objectives. The Senior Project Manager must be able to arrange assignment of responsibilities to staff. Lastly, they must be able to review their performances and develop staff professionally.

A Senior Project Manager must have experience managing projects and well-versed in the PMBOK. The Senior Project Manager must have experience in tracking costs, schedule, and performance progress. Additionally, they must be able to identify and mitigate risks and create a structure and organization for the management of a complex environment with emphasis on quantity, productivity, and consistency. They must be able to direct corrective actions in any area where performance falls below objectives. The Senior Project Manager must be able to arrange assignment of responsibilities to other supporting facilities, business areas, and support functions. Lastly, they must be able to monitor their performances.

The Senior Project Manager would support the Program Manager by managing each work stream. Activities would include developing project plans, implementation and closeout of each assigned project. Finally, the Senior Project Manager would oversee the development of metrics, communications, presentations and training materials, recommend project improvements, and provide collaboration and creation of Program Management planning documents to support the project.

6-10 years experience and Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems, Business or related scientific/technical discipline required. Eight years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education.

Work Location: Virtual telecommuting position in the USA. Although we are 100% virtual, you must be located in one of our hiring states of AL, AZ, CO, FL, GA, IA, IL, MD, MI, MN, NC, ND, TX, VA, WA, or WI. Must have high speed internet connection.
