The Service Writer maintains accurate and on-time reports and records relative to the service department's operation within KBE. Duties include, but are not limited to:

Assure that all charges related to work orders are posted properly and that all work orders are closed on a timely basis.
Process warranty and Product Improvement Claims.
Be aware of and track "comebacks" and makes sure the problem is corrected to the customer's satisfaction in a manner that promotes a positive image of KBE.
Oversees technicians performing inspections, preparing reports, and doing repairs; if necessary, carries out these job duties personally to ensure highest quality of work

Requirements

High school diploma or GED certificate required.
Associate's degree in Business, Management, or Agriculture is preferred and/or relevant experience may be substituted.
2+ years of successful service experience in commercial, recreational, or farming equipment preferred.
Forklift Operator Certification required within 30 days.
Current Driver's License with the ability to qualify for the KBE Drivers Program.
