Northrop Grumman's Space Systems sector is looking for Project Management support as a Program Coordinator with the Integrated Missions Operating Unit and Space Software Defined Radio Product Center.

A successful candidate works well in a fast paced environment and enjoys the opportunity to define possible. The primary objective will be to support the delivery of all hardware requirements on schedule, coordinating across functions, to include coordination between engineering, manufacturing, and management. Previous experience in supply chain and manufacturing is preferred.

The program coordinator oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management, and reports to the product center program manager. They review status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports; assess project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. The program coordinator develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree. In lieu of a degree, 4 years of relevant experience (manufacturing, parts procurement, parts management) may be considered.
  • Ability to obtain TS/SCI
  • Experience in planning, procurement, hardware production, and/or parts management, in Aerospace and Defense industry (may be internship or college project experience for those without previous full time experience)


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Top Secret Clearance
  • Demonstrated experience in project management, supply chain, planning, procurement, hardware production, and/or parts management,
  • Manufacturing educational experience


Salary Range: $56,300.00 - $84,500.00

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
