Job description

Vivo HealthStaff is recruiting for a Psychiatrist for a permanent salaried position in Kentucky. Excellent salary, benefits, and relocation package available.Job Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate patients' mental health conditions and diagnose disorders using different assessment techniques.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, including psychotherapy and medication prescriptions.
  • Monitor the effects of medication and make adjustments as necessary.
  • Provide crisis intervention and emergency psychiatric services.
  • Counsel patients and their families on mental health issues and coping strategies.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive patient care plans.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
  • Stay informed about new research, treatments, and medications in the field of psychiatry.
  • Participate in professional development activities and attend conferences.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards.
Essential Qualifications:
  • KY Medical License or eligible for a license
  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Psychiatry
  • Active and unrestricted DEA License.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
Desired Experience:
  • Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience as a Psychiatrist.
