For an intern, earning $30 an hour is considered above average in many industries, especially for roles that require specialized skills or are in high-demand fields. Companies may provide support such as moving expenses or temporary housing to attract qualified candidates, depending on their policies and the job's location.

Is it normal to relocate for an internship?

Relocating for an internship is common, especially for positions that require in-person work or are competitive. Interns often need to move to a different city or region to gain experience, and companies may provide relocation assistance or stipends to support this transition.

Do companies offer relocation assistance for interns?

Internship programs sometimes include relocation assistance, especially for competitive or paid internships at larger companies. However, many internships do not provide relocation support, so it varies by employer and program policies.
