Customer Service Representative

This description is intended to be illustrative of the major duties to be performed by the employee assigned to the position of Customer Service Representative lll. This employee assists the Call Center in customer service, ordering and fulfilling support activities. The Customer Service Representative may additionally be required to perform other duties as assigned by management.
- Answer inbound calls received in the Call Center queue
- Monitor and process web orders received in the order confirmation inbox and SalesPad
- Setup customer accounts and users for web ordering on orders.Leiters.com web platform
- Setup customer pricing for web ordering
- Complete the weekly replacement order report
- Place orders received through Leiters ordering inboxes
- Receive and respond accurately and professionally to customer inquiries and concerns via telephone or email
- Respond to customer’s inquiries utilizing all available resources
- Verify and update customer information
- Analyze a customer’s needs and reply appropriately
- Provide updates to other internal teams on customers’ needs
- May be assigned to support products that are more complex or critical in nature
- Identify and escalate priority issues
- Track service shipments and communicate status to customers
- Comprehend and implement SOPs, forms, and quality control activities
- Data entry into a selected customer interaction, prescription, and accounting software programs
- Lift up to 50 lbs. and stand or sit for extended periods of time when required.
- Typing skills of 50+ words a minute highly desired
- Typically requires 3-5 years of related experience
- Individual must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and a demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Ability to manage time, prioritize, and adhere to time frames in a busy environment
- Customer friendly with excellent communication, telephone skills and demonstrated good judgment
- Computer abilities including accounting, pharmacy order and fulfillment software, and experience with spreadsheets and automated accounting systems.
- Ability to contribute in a positive and fast-paced team environment
- Independent worker, self-starter with ability to maintain an organized work station
- Experience in a commercial pharmacy providing support functions, preferred.
- High school diploma or GED equivalency required; college level 2-year degree, preferred.
- Accurate data entry in a high volume environment; able to enter data and perform supply calculations.
