Our world-class team in one of our Wisconsin locations is seeking a passionate and highly motivated Continuous Improvement Manager.

As a Continuous Improvement Manager your responsibilities will be:

  • Ensure that exiting processes maintain a high level of performance and continue to function at optimal levels of efficiency.
  • Continuously review and refine processes to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Identify and facilitate all process improvement projects and training company-wide to expedite the improvement of products and processes.
  • Drive the improvement of processes and systems and implement programs that will have continuing long-term benefits.
  • Conduct root cause analysis to troubleshoot manufacturing issues, determine metrics, material flow, project plans, production capacity, and facility design, and create process documentation and work instructions.
  • Carry out advanced data collection and analysis for process mapping, budget development, and cost analysis to determine project feasibility and make recommendations to leadership.
  • Recommend changes in standards, processes, equipment, and materials.
  • Work closely will all departments within the company to identify and facilitate improvement projects.
  • Implement training programs/workshops and train employees at all levels on Six Sigma and Lean practices, including certifications at Green Belt and Black Belt levels.
  • Act as a Change Agent by defining, researching, planning, building support, and collaborating with senior leadership to drive a cultural change in organizational effectiveness and development.
  • Supervise and direct the work of department staff.

A strong Continuous Improvement Manager will possess:

  • Minimum of 2-5 years of project management or continuous improvement experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • Six Sigma Green Belt preferred.
  • Demonstrated skill in organizing work, setting priorities and sound decision making.
  • Strong Leadership capabilities with effective team communication.
  • Strong work and personal ethics.
  • Deals effectively with company personnel on all levels ranging from production workers to senior management.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills to work effectively in a team environment.

Travel: 50% travel will be required.
