Responsibilities:- Support storage infrastructure providing optimal availability
- Perform Disaster recovery
- Develop and maintain storage capacity
- Evaluate performance benchmarks, monitor workload and analyze results to ensure systems optimization
- Manage accounts and access to the systems management software
- Strong attention to details with solid follow-through skills
- Manage the installation and integration of the system fixes, updates, and enhancements
- Participate in user group meetings or conduct SME training in problem solving or storage systems management
- Conduct briefings on storage related hardware/software developments and technology advances to senior systems analysts, system programmers, database administrators and managers
- Must have experience with storage Administration Platforms Dell/EMC, NETAPP, IBM, CISCO
- Must have experience with Enterprise Storage Systems Administrators and Storage Area Network Direct Attached, Network Attached, Storage Area Network, Software Defined, Cloud, etc.)
- Must have Experience with various databases
- Experience with storage management software including Enterprise Class Data Protection Applications (e.g. NetBackup &/or Commvault, Snap view, Mirror view)
- Ability to maintain and maximize the storage infrastructure providing optimal availability, performance and disaster recovery readiness
- Must have knowledge with fiber channel protocol, internet small computer system interface, fiber channel over ethernet, fiber connection
- Develop and maintain storage capacity and chargeback reports in a timely manner
- Diagnose and resolve complex problems involving software, servers, storage arrays, etc.
- Monitor service results to identify common problems and/or trends in providing a "proactive" service support program, preventing potential problems
- Evaluate performance benchmarks, monitor workload and analyze results to ensure systems optimization
- Develop and document enterprise storage SOPs including software configuration, implementation plans, and other various storage processes and procedures
- Preferred certification with the following storage solutions; NetApp AFF-A700, VMAX 200k, and CISCO MDS9700s
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, systems, business, or related scientific /technical discipline and 5+ years’ work experience
- Eight (8) years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education (13 years total)
Clearance:
- The ability to pass a Tier 2/Modest Background Investigation
Location:
- Martinsburg, WV (100% Onsite)
- Tuesday - Saturday (1:00 PM - 9:30 PM CST Time)
