Job description

Our client, a leading organization in enterprise technology solutions, is seeking a Senior Storage Administrator to join their team. As a Storage Administrator, you will be part of the IT Operations Department supporting the Infrastructure and Storage teams. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to technology management, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Senior Storage Administrator

Location: Baltimore, MD

Pay Range: $59-62/hr depending on years of experience

What's the Job?

  • Manage and optimize enterprise storage environments across on-premises and cloud platforms.
  • Design, implement, and support enterprise storage solutions including block, file, and object storage.
  • Administer SAN infrastructure (Cisco MDS), including zoning, VSANs, and fabric performance tuning.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot storage performance, availability, and capacity issues.
  • Lead storage migrations, modernization initiatives, and support disaster recovery operations.

What's Needed?

  • 7+ years of enterprise storage administration experience.
  • Hands-on experience with platforms such as Dell EMC PowerMax/VMAX, PowerScale (Isilon), and Pure Storage.
  • Strong expertise in SAN/NAS technologies (Fibre Channel, iSCSI, Cisco MDS, SMB, NFS).
  • Experience with storage provisioning, replication, snapshots, and performance tuning.
  • Solid troubleshooting skills across storage, networking, and VMware environments.
