Bee Safe Self-Storage is seeking a dependable self-starter who is motivated to reach and exceed goals/expectations by effectively managing business through exceptional customer service and property maintenance. We are seeking someone to take this location to the next income level via off-premises marketing, pro-active in-house sales, and on-going customer attention to detail.

A successful performer in this role will demonstrate self-motivation, enthusiasm, a positive attitude, problem solving skills, high energy, effective time management, motivation, high integrity, confidence, the ability to take charge mentally and independently while adhering to set procedures, the drive to consistently go above and beyond to offer an exceptional customer service experience, and be an outgoing team player.

Part Time Manager Job Description:

The Bee Safe Property Manager will report directly to and work with the Facilities/Operations Manager.

Customer Service

  • Assist customers with determining storage needs, start to finish
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by listening and communicating effectively and pleasantly with enthusiasm and professionalism
  • Candidate must understand what exceptional customer service is about and believe that average is not acceptable.

Facility Management

  • Light maintenance i.e. sweeping, mopping, cleaning unit doors, etc
  • Appearance and curb appeal of store on a daily basis
  • Ability to work with others
  • Physical ability to handle property maintenance

Office Administration

  • MS Office Suite knowledge
  • Virtual meeting knowledge
  • Phone skills
  • Reports to and works with Operations/Facility Manager to ensure property appearance looks good
  • Understanding property goals to attain revenue goals

Sales and Marketing

  • Attend local marketing and networking events
  • take this location to the next income level via off-premises marketing, pro-active in-house sales, on-going customer attention to detail, and proper property maintenance.

Asset Management

  • General Housekeeping
  • Clerical and administration duties

Required (Minimum) Qualifications:

  • HS diploma
  • Associate or Bachalor degree preferred
  • Reliable transportation
  • Lift 50lbs
  • Climb ladders on occasion
  • Stand/walk 
  • Must physically show units and walk the facility
  • Prior Customer Service experience
  • Schedule

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior self-storage experience
  • Prior sales experience 

Schedule:

M-F & willingness and ability to work one weekend day

Shall not exceed 40 hours per week without approval from management in advance
